Step by step
- Review the transcript. Start with a video that contains speech and inspect the generated captions. Check names, product terms, and numbers carefully; automatic transcription can mishear them.
- Correct words and timing. Edit the caption text and adjust when each caption appears. Watch the video with audio to make sure the text follows the speaker and each phrase has time to be read.
- Set a readable style. Choose a caption style, font, size, color, and position. Adjust the number of words shown together and use highlighting selectively. Preview at phone size and leave room for the destination platform’s interface.
- Choose an export. Export an MP4 with captions when you want the text built into the video. Flurra also provides a version without on-screen text and separate SRT and VTT files for workflows that accept subtitle uploads.
How Flurra does this
Flurra’s video editor includes transcript editing, caption line timing, styling, positioning, and word highlighting. You can preview the captions on your footage, then download a 1080p MP4 with captions or without on-screen text, plus SRT or VTT subtitle files. Subtitle-file support depends on where you upload the finished video.
